Dynamically stored field, can't be searched?

edited Dec 2, 2019 6:11PM in SuiteCloud / Customization 3 comments

I have a field that is populated with a result based on a server side script. When the script executes on beforeLoad, a scripted search is ran, and based on the results of that search, the field is populated. That works great.

But I would now like to push the information that is in that field out to my sales rep's dashboards. But the 'store value' checkbox for that field needs to be unchecked (at least in my testing) so that the field can be populated by the scripted search. But if the value is not being stored, then the field name does not appear on the search drop-down.

Howdy, Stranger!
