nlobjResponse, base64 encoded data and the ContentType header
I need to determine on what side of the fence my problem is.
While developing an server application that is making requests against a SuiteLet that is supposed to be returned binary PDFs I was having trouble getting base64 data back. My response stream from my request was packed full of binary goodness!
I commented out the code that was setting content type on the SuiteLet and then I received base64 encoded data as expected.
So my question: Is there a NetSuite bug that serves binary as binary when content type is NOT text OR is it my Http request component that thinks it's smart and sees the content type as application/pdf and returns binary?
