How to send POST data using nlapiRequestURL in a user event script
Hi,
I'd have a small question on SuiteScript.
I’ve previously run all scripts I’ve made on the client side. Now I’m running a test script on the server side (a user event script set to run aftersubmit) just to see if I can send anything to our own server. The test script is as simple as follows:
function tester()
{
var postData = new Array();
postData[0] = "value1";
postData[1] = "value2";
nlapiRequestURL("http://www.eroke.fi/POSTtesti_kasittelija.php", postData, null, null);
}
When I run this script on the client side, values “value1” and “value2” are sent to the server and saved there. But when I run it as a user event script or a scheduled script (both being run on NetSuite server I suppose), the request is made but the values saved on our server are empty. As if nlapiRequestURL wouldn’t send any POST data on the server side. Do you have any idea what could be the reason for this?
