Stopping scheduled scripts triggering user-event scripts
This is probably a really simple question but I've never needed to do this and can't find the right solution.
I've got a scheduled script that runs twice a day. It goes through some sales orders and edits a single field on them.
I've also got 3 user-event scripts that run on edit or creation of sales orders. I figured that the editing operation of the scheduled script wouldn't trigger the 3 user-event scripts, but I've just realised that it does. And I don't want it to.
At the moment, execution of the user-event scripts is simply controlled by:
if ((type == 'create') || (type == 'edit'))
