Rescheduling Scheduled Script AGAIN!

Hello folks. I have a question about rescheduling scheduled script.
I have a script which loops through list of projects and run 5 different saved searches.

When I reschedule a scheduled script, does it know where it left off from previous scheduled run? Or does it start all over again?

Can someone shed some light into how rescheduling a script works?
