getMatrixcount not working.

Hi,

I am trying to get column count(Quantity levels) of Pricing sublist for an Item.

I have used the below code.

        var it1 = nlapiLoadRecord('inventoryitem','100');
var qty1 = it1.getMatrixCount('price1', 'price');

The above code works in Debugger. But if i execute the same code in client script it is returning null.
