Enforcing order in copied advanced project task records via scripting.

edited Dec 2, 2019 6:03PM in SuiteCloud / Customization

Hi--

I was wondering if anyone else had tried scripting the creation of project task records and enforcing the order of those records?  These are the advanced project task records, not CRM tasks.

This may be more a problem with being able to reliably retrieve project task order information rather than the creation/update of new tasks, per se.  I'm copying tasks from one project to another and I do see that fields 'order' and 'msprojoutlinenum' are available of the record itself, but these fields aren't available via searches.  Naturally I'm trying to avoid loading all of my source project tasks via something like nlapiLoadRecord; not only inefficient for this sort of task, but I'd eat alot of usage.

Howdy, Stranger!
