Assigning Sales Rep to Lead
Hey all,
I have been wracking my brain these past few days trying to come up with a solution to this or to find out if it's even possible.
I need to be able to assign specific sales reps to a lead, prospect, or customer on creation and/or on update depending on certain information received through an online form without the use of sales rules.
Is this possible at all (whether through the PHP Toolkit, SuiteScript or Workflows)?
(Perhaps there may be a solution using sales rules that I am not thinking of)
The reason that I say sales rules and sales teams will not work is that whenever an agent refers or brings in a new lead or client to our website to fill out one of our online forms. It is that specific agent who should be assigned as the sales rep for that record.
