webstore user login validation
Hi everyone,
im wondering if it is possible to create a script that will validate if a user is logged in on my webstore?
what i want to do is validate if they are logged in and allow them to continue browsing the site. i know i can set this via the password protect fields within the store settings, however we have a requirement that the user be able to register a new user.
this functionality becomes disabled when a user attempts to register on a password protected site even when the form submission comes from a hosted tab.
i imagine that it would simply need to validate if the user id exists within the session and if so, continue access on the webstore, if not, then bounce the user to the login page.
