Custom UI Assistant to Upload & Process CSV File

edited Dec 2, 2019 6:00PM in SuiteCloud / Customization 1 comment

I am creating a custom Assistant that will take a csv file, create items from the file and then assign the items as componenets of an assembly item.

I am able to upload the file to netsuite. However, when I try to pull information out of the file to process the data...nothing . My CSVProcess checks to see if the "temp" is empty before any processing begins and throws an error if temp is empty...I am always getting the "empty error".

CSVProcess - parses a string into an array of arrays

    function processCSV(file)  {      var array = [[]];                 temp = file.getValue();      array = CSVProcess(temp);         return array;  }

Howdy, Stranger!
