TO_DATE formula
Hey guys.
It turns out when you attempt to display a date field using formula, Oracle's default date format takes over and displays it as yyyy-mm-dd ...
take 1/1/2012 for example. It shows up on the date field as 1/1/2012 but when used in formula, it shows up as 2012-01-01. Fine... When i try to do TO_DATE({datefield},'mm/dd/yyyy'), it throws up with Invalid expression.
Any idea why?
