Unticking Billable Time

I spend a lot of time at month end, unticking the billable time for any service items (managed service, warranty etc) that are not chargeable.

What I would like to do is upon selecting an item, determine if the item is chargeable / non - chargeable and set the billable automatically.

Has anyone done this already?
