Commerce API addItem

Hi,

I have no trouble adding items to the cart using the addItem(item) api call when I am only using the itemid and quantity. However, i want to add the item with options. NetSuite seems to ignore the options and simply add the the item without them.

I can't seem to find any sample code that adds an item with options. Where can i find an example of this?
