Set Assistant Step Fields Dynamically
Is it possible to set the fields on an Assistant step dynamically based off the selections made in previous steps? Something like below? Do I need to pass the info in a session object or something?
i.e.
var assistant = nlapiCreateAssistant('Submit a new RFP'); assistant.setOrdered(true); assistant.addStep('generalinformation','General Information').setHelpText("stuff"); assistant.addStep('step2','step 2').setHelpText("stuff2"); if (request.getMethod() == 'GET') { [INDENT]if (step.getName() == "generalinformation") { var fldType = assistant.addField('type', 'select', 'Type: ', 'custlist'); } if (step.getName() == "step2") { var genInfoStep = assistant.getStep( 'generalinformation' ); var type = genInfoStep.getFieldValue(fldType); if (type == 1){ assitant.addField('custfield1','text','stuff'); } else if(type==2){ assitant.addField('custfield2','text','stuff2'); } [/INDENT] }
