How to retrieve an invoice number immediately after creation
Hi, everyone,
I would like to retrieve an invoice's invoice number immediately after the invoice is created. I thought that I could do this using the After Submit User Event, but it seems that I cannot. if I use
var record = nlapiGetNewRecord(); var invNum = record.getFieldValue("tranid"); OR
var invNum = nlapiGetFieldValue("tranid"); both of them return "To Be Generated" in the After Submit User Event. Is there a way to get the invoice number as soon as the invoice is created without using a scheduled script?
