Set preferred location via SuiteScript - Matrix Child Issue

Hi All,

While I can set the field 'preferredlocation' on standard inventory items via both nlapiSubmitFieldValue() and nlapiLoadRecord()/nlapiSubmitRecord(), both methods fail silently when attempting to set the field on a matrix child.

I can set the field using a mass update but for various reasons I would like to accomplish this task using suitescript.

Any thoughts?
