Can Restlets Access Fields in Tabs?

I'm writing a restlet I'm running into a problem.  It pulls data from projects (job) and it can grab the text or value form any field in main part of the form, but any fields I try to grab from the CUSTOM tab return a NULL value.

Am I doing something wrong?  Is this not possible?
