Only View access to User in Employee center

Hi,

I want to access vendor bill record in employee center role. Since user in this center cannot access directly the vendor bill, I created a custom record type (say record 1) and replicated the standard vendor bill body fields.

Now the form is available in employee center role but when viewed it comes with edit button. I tried to restrict the role in this center by providing "view" permission for this custom record, but still the edit button appears.

Query:
1. If you see the list of the record for the custom record type (Record 1), it comes with "edit|view" option. Is it possible to make it only view?
