Cost + X markup on order?
We have certain customers that have a fixed markup from our cost. For example, every item on a sales order should take the item purchase price * 1.06. We currently only have one customer so there is user event script that runs on save if a certain checkbox is checked.
First, we'd like to make this more dynamic so our sales rep can enter any markup % they would like. Also, I'm wondering if there is a better way to do this than a script, such as a workflow (which I'm not very familiar with)? What we have now is working, but it would be nice if the sales rep could see the markup take effect before they save the record.
