Is the Deparment field on Invoice Line Items scriptable?

On the Invoice form if you go into customization, you can have it show the Department field on the line items. I'm curious is this field scriptable. When Invoices are corrected via Time Entries they have a department associated with them, and our item records can sometimes have a department associated with them for that invoice that isn't the default department for the item. I need to be able to read the department for each line item via SuiteScript. Any help is appreciated, thanks.
