Workflow Action Script - Is it possible to read a Workflow Field?

Hello All,

Title says it all. Is it possible to read from a workflow field in a workflow action script? I believe the answer is no.

Only work around I can see is to use a custom field on the record that the workflow is running on.

Custom script parameters could be used if the data does not need to be dynamic.
