Item - Last Modified Date

Hello,

I have been working on a daily export for items created, modified or marked inactive.  I am having issues with the modified portion.  I would like to grab items who have had a field change, e.g., Price, Item Weight, Name, etc.  I am using the Last Modified field, but it is returning dates from the related records, e.g. Sales Order, Item Fulfillment, etc.  Is that expected behavior for this field?  Am I overlooking another field I should be using instead.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
