File Encoding on Macs

Has anyone run into any issues with file encoding on Macs when reading files from a Suitelet? We're having some issues with request.getFile() on certain Mac machines (note not all which is odd). The file comes in and reads all weird characters. It's only a CSV so it's a text file. Some Mac machines work fine. Tried different browser, different encoding in the browser and on the nlobjFile, nothing seems to do the trick. PC works great.

Any insights would be appreciated.
