Suitescript search on itemid retrieving other fields?

I'm creating a suitescript searching for an item by itemid, and it looks like the search is including a second item with a different item id because there is a custom field 'alt ids' with that also contains the same number (substring tho).


Item 1:
item id: 71834
alt ids: ABC

Item 2:
item id: 88888
alt ids: RT71834   // Some how it is matching the substring here..


Any ideas why it is doing this?
