Changing GL Impact of Credit Memos and Cash Refunds via User Event Script. Possible?

Hi, I would like to change the GL impact via a user event script for credit memos or cash refunds such to change the returns account based on the item's income account.

I'm just wondering if this is possible as I haven't been able to figure out how to do this.

Does anyone know if this is possible, or any potential workarounds?
