Create a linked PO from the SO with SuiteScripts?

Hello, we do a ton of drop shipping. We we can source the same product from 5 different vendors based on vendor stock, vendor cost, and geographic location. We have been unable to get the core Netsuite auto-order functionality to work for us. So, we started writing a script to auto-create PO's from SO's based on the above criteria. The problem is we can't seem to use a script with the same "drop ship" "special order" functionality you get from the UI in the SO. So the PO's we create will not be linked to the SO which causes problems
