Capturing the date an employee changes passwords

We'd like to ensure employees change their password with a certain frequency.  We have reasons why we don't want to use the NetSuite built-in preference "Password expiration in days".  So we're looking for a way to capture when someone changes their password.  Has anyone done this or have ideas?
