Determining the Matrix Options used by a Matrix Parent Item via Script

Hi -

I am trying programmatically to determine for a given matrix parent item, what options are used to generate the children? In the UI, you can see this via the "Matrix" tab - by seeing which of the lists have options selected, and also in looking at the "Matrix Items" sublist and seeing what column headings are there. I have lots of Matrix parents (they are non-inventory items, FWIW), and for our eCommerce platform (Magento) I need to run some logic on the matrix children pricing to determine what our upcharge is per-option.
