Custom Mass Update

A part number has changed and we want to update to the new part number on quotes, using a custom mass update.  I am new to suitescript and am trying to write a script to that will do the update.  I have gotten to where I can query in the custom mass update, but when I select one of the customers to update I get ReferenceError: "item" is not defined. I am not sure how to reference the part number in the script.  Can anyone help with this?
