Get internal id using the value of the record
I'm trying to figure out how I can get the internal id of a record based on it's value. I'm working on a script where I load a customer and then add some text to a field in the address subrecord based on a selection made in a custom drop down. I need to load a custom record based on the value chosen in that drop down. Is that possible or what is the work around if it isn't?
