Parameters with PopupSearchitem

Hi guys,

Trying to do an item search on a sales order (using the line item search function - PopupSearchitem(this);) It takes you to the preferred search form which has the relevant filters on.

My question is, can i force parameters through on this for the filters? I can do it once in the results, e.g. adding &customfield="thisresult" etc but i cant seem to force it straight through to the results with a pre defined parameter.

Any help would be appreciated.
