Is it possible to catch the label file(zpl/epl) using script?

I m trying to automate label printing process. Whenever a itemfulfillment record is created(usps label generated), make system download zpl/epl label itself, and send it to zebra printer. I don't see any script that can catch label file.
Anyone done this before? or any advice?
