Trying to create an inventory adjustment with the new Inventory Status (released in 2018.1) feature

edited Dec 2, 2019 5:44PM in SuiteCloud / Customization

So this basic inventory adjustment code below works when Inventory Status is not enabled in our system:

 var inventoryadj = nlapiCreateRecord("inventoryadjustment");  inventoryadj.setFieldValue('account', 5);  inventoryadj.setFieldValue('adjlocation', 5);  inventoryadj.insertLineItem("inventory", "item", 1);  inventoryadj.setLineItemValue('inventory', 'item', 1, 8165);  inventoryadj.setLineItemValue('inventory', 'location', 1, 5);  inventoryadj.setLineItemValue('inventory', 'adjustqtyby', 1, 5);  sInveAdjID = nlapiSubmitRecord(inventoryadj, true);

But when we enable Inventory Status in our system, we're now getting this message:

 Details: Please configure the inventory detail in line 1 of the inventory list.

It looks with this new status feature it's possible to assign multiple statuses to various quantities of inventory, but we're just interested in assigning the only status available right now. I didn't see anything in SuiteScript 1.0 documentation about adding a status or multiple statuses to each Inventory Adjustment line. Can anyone direct me or tell me what suitescript methods/functions I need to call? I tried to inspect the inventory adjustment object but didn't see anything immediate? Thanks for any guidance.

Howdy, Stranger!
