How to get our URL to show in searches

Can someone please tell me how to get our URL to show up in search engines instead of shopping.netsuite.com?  I have set up domains and if I select the primary domain our site does not come up at all.  Our home page is hosted outside of NS and customers are directed to our store from a link on the home page.
