NetSuite Issue 126603 / jsession redirects
I received an update from NetSuite customer service stating:
Status changed from Open - Fix Undergoing Testing to Pending Customer Reply
I replied to customer service as well.
My understanding is that this issue is to redirect googlebot, Slurp!, etc from URL's with jsessionid's
As an example:
http://www.christmastreeforme.com/Artificial-Christmas-Trees;jsessionid=ac112b2a1f434dd47e5dba2e427588e0a27fc010f3e4.e3eSbNyQc3mLe34Pa38Ta38Pax90
would redirect to
http://www.christmastreeforme.com/Artificial-Christmas-Trees
Doing a rudimentary test with FireFox's User Agent Switcher (say that 5 times fast), there was no redirect.
I think this is a valid test because when I turn on GoogleBot in the User Agent Switcher, jessionid's go away from the UI as do parameters like sc=...
