custom tags vs. include files
I've heard that it is better to use include files rather than custom tags for SEO...i.e. robots don't read the html in the tag and thus don't get the content or follow the links. On the flip side, I've seen NetSuite stores that use custom tags heavily (including for their logo and tabs.header) have all their pages indexed with high rankings....it seems the content and links must not be ignored. What is the best practice, especially since include files don't work in the site themes?
Any thoughts?
Thanks - Kerrie
