Auto-Add "no-follow/no-index" meta tag to duplicate items

edited Nov 27, 2019 7:42PM in Web Site / E-Commerce 4 comments

NetSuite seems to picks a DOMINANT version of each duplicate item in our webstore.  Here is what I mean... we have items that are listed in two or three categories.

One such item is our "We Deliver" Neon Sign.

If we do a search for "We Deliver" using our web store's search tool, it only finds one match.  We like that behavior.  We wouldn't want it to find every duplicate placement of that item.  So, the one that is found can be called the dominant of the identical items.  I want NetSuite to ALSO automatically add the "no-follow/no-index" meta tag to all but the dominate one.  Google offers a "no-follow/no-index" meta tag.  When I go to the Google webmaster tools, it is showing all of our duplicate content as possible spamming of the search-engines.

Howdy, Stranger!
