Our very old site (pre NS) has obviously got an old feed out there or something that has links to our new site but in the wrong format.  So I have 100's of page not found errors on google that say

"/showproduct.aspx?productid=1096"

The old site used productid to identify the product, I do not have a record of what these were.  But if I redirect all of them to our new home page, I am in danger of overloading the home page with re-directs.  I here that Google does not like this.
