Is it normal to have a drop in google activity after go live?

Is this normal? I submitted a sitemap of our NS hosted store about 2 weeks ago and our crawl activity by Google has come to a grinding halt. Also in Google webmaster tools it says that there are no problems with pages being restricted by robots.txt or anything.
