WSDK and Reference Cart. Redirecting link to external page. Using external image.

I've implemented NetSuite's Reference Checkout on many of my clients sites. I'm getting pretty good at customizing and knowing what's where. But this has me stumped.

I'm trying to get an external image to appear as the thumbnail image on the Reference Shopping Cart, with a link to the external product page. I've done this (the external image part) before for others, and though it is an involved process, NetSuite's SuiteAnswer is very detailed on the subject and if you follow it step by step, it works. /40454/  (Since I deal with SiteBuilder sites, the final step is to be done to the order_wizard_cart_summary  file instead of what is in that SuiteAnswer.)
