Tab Highlighting with HTML files, Work Around? Solution? Future Addin?

I have a few html pages where i would like the tabs at the top(witch represent catagories in the web site) to be changes by the html page the user is on, you might understand this better by visiting our web site "www.kehardware.com". where the tabs are catagories though netsuite, the side bar on the html pages represents a navigation though the static pages. the goal is to make the navigation though the html pages reflect where you are in the netsuite site by highlighting the tab at the top(like handles and knobs or table legs) when a static page
