Login Integration

We are trying to set up a way for registered users to add reviews to products.  The issue is login integration and finding a way to force the user to login with their webstore (NS) username and password to post a review.

Has anyone done this - maybe using webservices?

It appears to me that that section is pretty locked down - any ideas much appreciated.
