Adding custom fields to website categories

I am creating a template for categories on our website. I want to pull information entered into fields on the "Basic" subtab of the Site Category (Brief Description, Detailed Description, etc.). I am doing this using "getCurrentAttribute tags".

I would like to add additional fields to the Site Category "Basic" subtab from which I can pull info.

How do I do this?

I would appreciate some help.
