how do i edit the top navigation bar

Hi everyone,

I am currently building an online store in netsuite. I have an issue with editing the navigation bar. I have done the standard thing and edited the "Logo and Tabs Template" in the Themes area.

The only thing is my site is rendering some formatting that i really want to remove. This formatting is coming from within the <NLPAGETABS> formatting.

It is adding additional spacer images within the table that contains the navigation content.

In short how do i remove these spacer images ? is there a specific template for this control ?
