Displaying a list of all items in one long list grouped by category

Hi guys,

I would like to be able to display a list of all items in one long list but grouped by category title. Essentially to avoid having to click through into each category to see a list of the items under that category. We sell a number of different training courses and would benefit from just one page to provide an overview of what courses are available under different categories before the user clicks through into individual item descriptions.
