Small layout problem help required.

I am trying to make the column on the right hand side of my pages automatically fit to the length of the page. If you look carefully you can see some white pixels of the right of the right hand column, but the dark blue footer reaches the edge of the window.

I would be grateful of any suggestions on how to fix these layout problems. They are not serious but they are annoying.
