Setting a custom field on transaction body for session

edited Dec 18, 2019 1:46AM in Web Site / E-Commerce

Need some SSP help here and hoping someone has a similar need. Note this is the standard Checkout Reference I am refering to. We are trying to carry around some data with the session order between the shopping cart and the checkout (non-secure and secure respectively). This is all in the Model.js LiveOrder model in the SSP Libraries. When a user logs in to checkout, we set some data in a custom field:

order.setCustomFieldValues({custbody3:"some data here"});

where order is derived from nlapiGetWebContainer().getShoppingSession().getOrder() and the custom field is set up for web store and display as "normal".

Howdy, Stranger!
