Bootstrap text from custom list field to Profile module in Mont Blanc

edited Dec 18, 2019 1:45AM in Web Site / E-Commerce 1 comment

I know you can bootstrap a custom field value to the Profile module but I can't figure out a clean way of getting the text from my custom list field. I'm adding custom code to the get function in the back end Profile.Model (the suitescript one).  The way I figured out but haven't fully executed would be to get the value for this custom field for the current customer like so:

                                 var customFieldValues = customer.getCustomFieldValues();                                    var customFieldValue = '';                  for (var i=0; i < customFieldValues.length; i++){                      if (customFieldValues[i].name == 'custentity_customlistfield'){                          customFieldValue = customFieldValues[i].value;                      }                  }

So now I have the value for this field for the logged in customer (this value has already been entered into the customer record). Then I use customer.getCustomFields() and get the html value for that particular field out of the object that command returns:

Howdy, Stranger!
