Currency rounding

Hello, the behavior seems to have changed a bit for us with 8.1

We have a custom record which has 2 custom fields each with a currency amount, the we have a formula that compares them and another checkbox to say they are OK or Not.

We find now that when we edit the record to say is OK, the system is now rounding the amounts in the currency fields!

Anyone else?
