Inventory Detail in Custom Record

I am creating a custom record with the field "Item" and "Inventory Details".
"Item" is a List/Record with the list of Item. "Inventory Details" is also a List/Record with the list of Inventory Number.

Currently, the Inventory Details will list out all the Inventory Number of all the item.
What I want is to filter the Inventory Number with only the Item selected. But when I tried to do the Sourcing&Filtering, I selected the Source List as "Item" and nothing i can select in the Source Filter By.

Did I used a wrong way to do the filter?
